One Club Casino has ten progressive slots games available in its software suite.  Among those ten progressive slots is a game called Light Speed.

With a broadband connection speed of 2 Mbps, it took some time for Light Speed to download – approximately five minutes.  When the game loaded, it brought out the image of a metallic gray slot machine.  While it could be said that the metallic gray color and the clean lines are supposed to be in keeping with the space theme of this progressive slots game, it is not exactly eye candy.  Moreover, the font size of the instructions for the progressive payout is too small even when the game is in full window mode.

The layout is simple, nonetheless.  With the slots machine at the center of the window, to the lower left-hand corner is a small window where your account balance/fun balance is displayed.  At the upper right-hand corner are game links arranged in a column.  The help link brings out your browser window and redirects you to One Club Casino’s help page.  The cashier link transfers you to the software’s cashier interface.  The options menu pops out the game play modifiers window while the back link returns you to the welcome screen.

Anyhow, the payout table of Light Speed is as follows:

Light Speed has only one payout line, which is the center line.  That is simplicity that is always looked forward to even when playing no-brainer games like progressive slots.

There are three kinds of chips at play in Light Speed: the $5s, the $25s and the $100s.  Each insert of a $5 chip gives you 20 credits; $25 chip, 60 credits; and $100 chip, 400 credits.  Light Speed is a three-coin progressive slots game.

Light Speed has two special symbols: the Robot and the Light Speed.  The Robot is like the joker in a deck of cards.  If you end up spinning two identical symbols and a Robot on the center line, the Robot will match the two other symbols, and so you get a payout as accorded in the payout table above.

However, the symbol to look forward to is the Light Speed symbol.  On each side of the payout table on the Light Speed progressive slot machine, there is column of light divided into seven segments.  Whenever you spin a Light Speed symbol, one of the segments on each of these columns lights up.  If you happen to match three symbols on the center line, the value of the payout is multiplied by the number of segments lit up on these columns.

For example, you get three spaceships on the center line.  The payout for such a match is $5 on the first coin.  If you have previously hit three Light Speed symbols, there ought to be four segments lit up.  This means your payout is $20.

But that is not all.  If you hit a laser gun combination on the third coin and you have all seven segments lit up, you get the progressive jackpot.
